Just look at the past few months; it's every few weeks that there is a serious issue- https://bitbucket.status.atlassian.com/history

If only the history on their status page went back further. And that doesn't include the years-long rollout of the 'new PR experience' and other frustrating product decisions by Atlassian. I cannot recommend Bitbucket to anyone.

Hello. We are using bitbucket with jira (generally Atlassian eco system) in our medium size software house. Today when my friend pushed something to bb repo he got this : https://i.imgur.com/LXWCeFl.jpg We were a bit shocked. Please don't talk that we are racist, homophobs and all this bullshit. We aren't. We would only know what's connection between git enterprise client and LGBT. Maybe none? Why mixing work with political/religion/etc? And when will you make other tags, some for Christians, some for Muslims, some for Heterosexuals...

I think that gitl** is opening 2nd champagne this month.

Is it possible to block these tags in bitbucket settings?

Just received this email detailing a big downgrading of free plan features. The email in full for anyone who hasn't seen it:

There are upcoming changes to Bitbucket Cloud's free plan that will go into effect on April 28, 2025. These changes are part of our ongoing efforts to improve the performance across your workflows and minimize abuse of our platform.

What's changing?

• Repository storage limit: free workspaces will now have a total storage limit of 1 GB.

• Snippets and downloads: these features will no longer be available for free workspaces.

• Pipelines logs: the retention period for Pipelines logs will be reduced to 90 days.

I'm only asking because I've read on Github's TOS that they don't allow sexually explicit content, but I couldn't find that in Bitbucket's TOS.

Recently i joined a new team working on an e-commerce website for a big company, we use Bitbucket Cloud for version control and Microsoft Teams for communication.

First thing i had to do is to fix some minor bugs so i fixed them after that i opened a pull request, what was surprising for me is the time it takes (2 days) to have my pull request validated and merged, so by curiosity i asked my tech lead about that he said sometimes when he receives email from Bitbucket to review some PRs he simply ignores it because maybe he didn’t have space at that time. We are using Jenkins plugin Bitbucket Branch Source (https://plugins.jenkins.io/cloudbees-bitbucket-branch-source/) and today it stopped working.

We created support ticket (with Standard plan). Support advised us that Bitbucket notified few month earlier about this change (endpoint change, and old endpoint deprecation), and that malintents of this plugin didnt fixed it.
We tried to build this plugin from sources, with new endpoint, but it didn't worked for us.

...and also it looks like Bitbucket presents it like a feature. Any ideas why is it taking such a long time? I'm always doing fast forward merge, which should be 1 milisecond operation from git perspective.
