Has a person-rating app gotten super popular? Is an irreverent cartoon character running for office? Did you recently virtually bring a loved one back from the dead?

Whenever you spot something IRL that either has been depicted in Black Mirror or seems very, very Black Mirroresque, share it with the rest of us here.

RULES

Try to be nice. Treat everybody like humans, not cookies.
No memes (Duh)
No politics unless it's relevant to the show.
Titles should be relevant to the article/post content. Vague titles like "What could possibly go wrong?" won't get removed or anything, but they should be avoided.
Don't put spoilers for the newest season in your title. At the same time, be forewarned that spoilers might appear in the comments.
Keep things related to the theme of Black Mirror - avoid posting upbeat news about technology and general futurism - unless, of course, the tech is presented in a positive light despite having sinister undertones. We're here for bleak technophobia, after all.
Remember that it's okay to laugh. This isn't a conspiracy sort of sub, so don't hesitate to chuckle at the absurd and ironic similarities between some real-life/future technology and the harrowing stuff of the Black Mirror universe. Technophobia doesn't have to mean technoparanoia!
