Welcome to r/BrownU!

Brown University is one of the oldest universities in the United States, founded in 1764.

Let this be a place where we can discuss all things Brown University. Feel free to use this space to ask questions or promote an event. For one-off, simple questions we ask that you post in the weekly megathread instead of creating a new post.

Please follow the rediquette and be respectful.

Please, don't ask us to chance you. We recommend talking to the admissions office, or [go to r/ChanceMe](https://www.reddit.com/r/chanceme/).
