This is a subreddit for advanced topics in dog training. This is not a subreddit for beginner topics such as housetraining or help with pet dog problems.

Do you do dog sports? Are you a professional, accredited dog trainer? Are you interested in advanced clicker training, long behavior chains, and behavioral science?

Let's talk about it!

This is a positive training space which is interested in a scientific approach to training and behavior. Thus, we do not follow outdated dominance theory and we ascribe to use positive methods to change behavior. We follow the humane hierarchy and the LIMA philosophy (least invasive - minimally aversive). We welcome crossover trainers or anyone interested in increasing their repertoire of positive training methods!

That being said, it is not just a training space, either. We're interested in behavior, cognition, and the "science of dogs".
