r/commstudents

If you're going to school (or went to school, or are planning on going to school for) communications, mass communications, advertising, PR, social media, journalism, business, or related fields, this is the sub for you. If you're interested in networking, this is also this sub's intention.

Intentions

To discuss studies in these fields (schools, classes, majors, ect)
To give/receive advice about these fields
To post/discuss internships and post-grad jobs in these fields
To share your related experiences in these fields
To network with those in these fields

Please Avoid:

Posts that simply advertise your blog (asking for advice is fine)
Making a Craigslist-esque post where you simply advertise yourself as available for jobs/internships (seek them out actively, not passively!)

Also Welcome Are:

Lurkers
Experts in the communications fields who would like to give input/advice
Anyone interested in these fields or their academic majors
