The Mosh Pit Network

A sub for one of the biggest hard rock bands of the 1970's, famous for songs like "Child In Time" and "Smoke On The Water." Formed in 1968, still rocking today.

Many people may have forgotten about the band, but we try to keep the spirit of this still-touring band alive! You can expect everything from this band on the sub. Music from every era of the band, awesome backstage live pictures, interviews and the 'craze' about all their new albums.

New releases can be found here and you can share your opinion about the many different musicians of the band, the various Marks and their albums, and all you can think of.

Deep Purple didn't stop after Blackmore!

This subreddit is meant for friendly discussion. Avoid insulting others and downvoting over disagreements.

Any type of post is welcome here, as long as its relevant to Deep Purple; songs, full albums, links to interesting forums or photo galleries, concert footage, news articles, discussions about anything related to the band.

Note that it must have a direct relation/purpose or it will be removed. Covers are an acceptable example. A cereal box with an advertisement to win Deep Purple tickets is not. For the superfans always posting here- spread out your posts as much as possible. If you need to make an appeal for a wrongly removed post or one caught by the spam filter, send a PM to a mod.

We welcome all strange kinds of women and hard lovin' men.
