I had been using Tradfri for the last 4-5 years, gradually setting up bulbs, outlets, wireless drivers, etc throughout my home. It worked, but was always pretty tedious to get things set up, especially with the pairing method that Tradfri uses. Last week I was having issues pairing some new Styrbar remotes to the Tradfri bridge, and they wouldn't pair. I was also having issues pairing one of the wireless drivers to the bridge, and gave up at the end and linked it only to the on/off dimmer. I tried resetting the Tradfri bridge, but then it wouldn't get a network connection anymore, so I jumped ship after multiple tries and ordered a Dirigera hub.

IKEA Smart app update for IOS - version 1.2.0 was released today.

The "launch version" was 1.1.0#531.

However I could not find any decent release notes.

In the past I could go to http://fw.ota.homesmart.ikea.net/feed/version_info.json and get the latest release notes URL. Which currently points to https://ww8.ikea.com/ikeahomesmart/releasenotes/releasenotes.html

I was really looking if in the new version you can manually add a Dirigera Hub using an IP addr

I bought a new STARKVIND floor model air purifier last weekend and it works great with the DIRIGERA hub. Fully integrated with Apple Home. I went ahead and bought the table model of this purifier for my bedroom.

Very nice, IKEA.

Finally found the Dirigera on the IKEA UK shelves and managed to connect it to all my tradfri drivers and also sync with Google home! It took some fiddling on the app but I'm glad it finally worked as expected.

I have transferred all of my devices from Tradfri over to Dirigera without any major issues. Dirigera has worked flawlessly with no drop outs or connection issues to Apple Home Kit.

I bought a batch of Parasoll contact sensors from IKEA when they first came out, and learned the hard way that they burn through batteries really, REALLY, FAST!

Does anyone know if they sensors are fixed now, or is burning through batteries still an issue? Thanks for any updates.

I'm having issues with adaptive lighting on my bulbs.

I used to be able to tap the top (power) button on the remote, and it would activate adaptive lighting — meaning the light would adjust based on the time of day.

But recently this has stopped working.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Any idea how I can fix it?
