flinflon: Founded on the rocks, with a prospector's claim and a dime store novel

r/flinflon

Beginning with a prospector's claim and a dime store novel, Flin Flon was founded as mining community in the 1920s. Built on rock, the city balances on the Manitoba border, partially straying into Saskatchewan. Flin Flon is proud of being the only city in the world named after a science-fiction character.
