Subreddit Don'ts:

Don't treat this subreddit like Craigslist. Posts looking for jobs for a specific person, buying or selling items, advertising businesses, or similar are subject to deletion without notice. (Advertising events is OK, as are general/occasional "who's hiring?" posts for a wider audience and requests for recommendations about businesses.)
Don't go overboard posting news articles. If it's a story which is likely to be uniquely interesting to people in this subreddit, or likely to encourage a lot of comments, by all means post, but we will be culling news articles from the front page when they start dominating and pushing more thoughtful discussion off of the page.
Don't offer a free pet on this subreddit. If you have an animal you can no longer care for, contact Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control so that it can be properly screened before being rehomed.
Don't treat this subreddit like OKCupid, either. Any personal ads will be deleted without notice.
Don't post without checking if what you're posting is already on the front page.
Don't be disrespectful of others in your posts and comments. Hate speech will not be tolerated.
Don't post personal information.
Don't engage in or encourage "witch hunting" or vote brigading requests.
Don't use this subreddit as a platform to promote your recurring blog posts, webisodes, events, or other projects. (One-time events, as well as annual events, are fine.)
