The ambitious side of Magic

r/Johnnys is about self expression through deck building. We're invested in finding interesting ways to modify gameplay. Our hope is to find synergies and combos that are unexpected, undervalued, or have been overlooked.

Who are Johnny or Jenny?

“To Johnny or Jenny, Magic is an opportunity to show the world something about themself, be it how creative they are, or how clever they are, or how offbeat they are. As such, Johnny/Jenny is very focused on the customizability of the game. Deck building isn’t an aspect of the game to Johnny or Jenny; it’s the aspect.”
