About the Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic gentleman's service fraternity, open to any practicing Catholic man over the age of 18. Founded by Father Michael J. McGivney in 1882, the KC has since gone on to help its members and others financially or otherwise, volunteer countless hours of work to the church and local communities, and perform lots of other good deeds to help make the world a better place and spread the message of Jesus and the church.

Community Rules

Please keep the discussions and posts KC related. This can include news about the Catholic church, and some lenience will be given to posts that are of a good nature, meaning they promote a good, moral, Catholic message.

Any religious debate discussions should take place at /r/DebateAChristian. Such discussions are not allowed in this community.

General Christian or Catholic posts will, for the most part, be allowed. Keep in mind, however, that there exists /r/Christianity and /r/Catholicism as well, so think first if your posts may belong there instead.

Basically, rule #1 is please use common sense when posting.
