Visible light is the portion of electromagnetic radiation that is visible to the human eye.
Visible light has a wavelength that ranges from about 380 or 400 nanometers to about 760 or 780 nm, with a frequency range of about 405 THz to 790 THz.
The speed of light in a vacuum is defined to be exactly 299,792,458 meters per second. This is believed to be one of the fundamental constants of nature.
Primary properties of light are intensity, propagation, frequency or wavelength spectrum and polarisation.
