What is post punk? Nobody's sure, but we know what it isn't. Beware the tut-and-moan of the pseudo-intellectual.

Memo: We've all heard Joy Division. If you wanna post JD, make sure it's rare or live. Same goes for New Order, The Smiths, The Cure, The Talking Heads, Public Image Ltd, Bauhaus- any of the usual suspects on your run-of-the-mill 'Essential Guide To Post-Punk' primer. Essential, yeah, we get it, yawn.

*** IF YOU POST ANY SONG BY THE KILLERS, YOU WILL BE BANNED ***

NO BLOGSPAM. WE REPEAT: NO BLOGSPAM.

Any site selling albums/tracks will be classed SPAM. Don't even consider posting an ad site that's your own band. The fig leaf of "name your own price" is not enough. Also, no crowd-funding links.

If your post isn't showing, maybe it's in our spam filter. It's also possible we removed it. What were you doing posting A-Ha anyway?

Don't post direct-download links. There are legal reasons. And malware reasons.

Anyway, make sure you watch "Upside Down: The Creation Records Story" or maybe "24 Hour Party People" but do what you want, we're nihilists
