Comments that read like a prize-winning book

r/PulitzerComments

This subreddit is for posting those rare, unexpected comments that seem like they've been ripped out of a prize-winning novel or autobiography. It might be a engrossing well-written story or it might be a beautifully worded one-sentence observation - whatever it is, feel free to share it here.

#Rules:

Be the person Mr. Rogers knows you can be.

Seriously. You can do it, we believe in you.

When posting a link to a comment, please make sure the relevant comment is highlighted, and the post's title should be in this form:

"Appropriate Title" - u/author

If posting from a source other than Reddit, please take a screenshot, with the author's name visible. Post-naming conventions still apply.

Do not post links to first-level comments/pieces from r/writingprompts or related writing subreddits.

Comments from such subreddits are deliberately meant to be prize-winning literary pieces (for the most part). Stick to amazingly well-written comments from unexpected subreddits, that could be found, say, in the next Man Booker Prize-winning novel.
