RULES:

Discuss RAV4 Prime primarily. Some discussion of RAV4 Prime competition will be permitted.
Don't say "boomer".
Don't say "troll" or "trolling".
No demonstrations of economic illiteracy. No negativity regarding markups. You are encouraged to post about current prices and markups and your dealership experiences, but please DO NOT:

Complain about advertised markups.
Complain about dealers asking for markups during price negotiations.
Claim or imply markups are somehow criminal.
Claim or imply markups are somehow immoral.
Claim or imply absence of markups is somehow morally superior.
Ask why Toyota isn't doing something about markups.
Chastise others for paying markups. (Gentle reminders that one can shop around for deals, and tips on securing deals, are OK.)
Express any other negativity or moral value judgments about markups or their absence (except those involving bait-and-switch).

Posts about bait-and-switch will be allowed, as that is different from a simple markup ask on the part of a dealer.

ALL POST LINKS MUST INCLUDE THE ORIGINAL TITLE OF THE CONTENT - even crossposts within Reddit must not change the original title. Titles that are (for some reason) in all CAPS can be de-capitalized to avoid eye trauma. Does not apply to links in comments.

Links to tweets must be the text of the tweet itself (or a truncated version thereof). You can pick a portion of the tweet as your title, as long as the context isn't misleading.

Links to forum posts must also contain the text of the forum post headline. If there is no headline, the top (OP) post must be quoted in the link title. If you have a zinger you just can't hold back, add it as a comment immediately after your post. It is acceptable to put whatever title you want on images or original content.

Be civil and mature. No name-calling. No tit-for-tat. No escalation.
Please keep comments constructive. Critical comments are welcome. Destructive negativity will result in a warning, and then a temporary ban.
No annoying bots.
No sockpuppets. New accounts which break rules and have no post history will be permanently banned without warning.
Limited self-promotion and no direct advertising. Mods have discretion to limit self-promotion activities and to determine what constitutes direct advertising. Private sales of Prime related items allowed.
No advertising vehicles for sale. No posts or comments about individual RAV4 Primes (or any other vehicles) for sale, used or new. This is not a classified-advertising sub. Posts and comments in violation will be removed.
