REDDIT FEST

A post was made calling for a "reddit festival". It was front-paged and so this subreddit came into being.

It seems like the head honcho's of reddit have already been thinking of something along these lines and there has been talk of summer 2013.

We're developing an official redditfest committee that will help us determine a more formal plan on how to best proceed. We'll try to get any related subreddits involved in developing their particular aspect of the event:

r/art - for art

r/radioreddit - for music

If you feel you have input that would be valuable for the committee, please post here with details: Have you worked in Event Planning (particularly large events like this) or working with vendors? Legal, business, or non-profit experience?

If you think you would be able help out, you probably can :)

Let us know your thoughts!
