The scientific reddit is for the discussion of real scientific papers. Please join and submit your favorite papers!

Please try to submit a direct link to the pdf if you can. Also, please try to make sure the paper you submit is available to everyone, not only to students of rich universities who can afford to pay subscriptions to every journal on earth. Finally, please don't submit pop-science articles; they will be removed.

If you want to discuss general interest science stories and news events, try r/sciences.

If you want to ask a question to a scientist, askscience is pretty good.

For less technical papers, you might want to try /r/laymanjournals.
