A place for anything Sam Harris never said

r/strawmanharris

The neocon bigoted fundamentalist new shoe atheists of /r/strawmanharris are currently having a secret meeting about how stupid compatibilists are. Check back in a little while.

Are you a masochist like Sam Harris definitely is?

Then post any mischaracterizations, misrepresentations, straw men, stupid musings, generally maliciously uncharitable nonsense, and outright libel about Harris here!

Everyone is welcome in this subreddit, regardless of religious or philosophical views. (Except compatibilists!) However, saying something wrong, super straw man powers, and endless self-promotion will not be tolerated. In the spirit of ~~lunastar1's~~(peace be upon you, brother)/JarinJove's work, this place is a joke. (It's gross, it's racist!)

If you want to argue about why something is or isn't Straw Man Harris, you'd better bring full quotations and sources!

Officially Codified Doctrine of New Atheist Dogma™

All religious people are stupid.
If you're religious, I hate you.
Numbers don't real.
A priori knowledge is impossible.
Philosophy is false. QED.
If any of the above are false, theocracy is true.
I'm gay and I don't believe in god.

If you are interested in discussing Straw Man Harris' lesser known twin brother, Sam Harris, please head on over to r/SamHarris.

If you want to get an idea of how not to end up linked in this subreddit, check out the /r/StrawManHarris Not Straw Hall Of Fame™!
