hi there! looking for opinions from parents on dixie canyon versus carpenter community versus Sherman oaks charter! How are the class sizes compared to one another? What are the parent communities like? How is the curriculum? honestly any info or vibes on any of these 3 is helpful!!! Open to any and ALL honest opinions!
We are looking to buy a condo around studio city/sherman oaks and are very interested in finding one that is well run and funded sufficiently. (We've heard too much about badly run ones that end up with large assesments and/or ones that don't keep the place maintained). We have time so it is fine if the condo doesn't have any for sale at the moment - we can wait for one to become available but would love to know of some well run ones to watch. We know that means that the hoa will be higher (because they are saving money and/or keeping the place in good shape) (i don't get people who shop for the cheapest and then expect it not to have problems because of that). Thanks for any feedback/sug

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a two-story structure fire in Studio City on Wednesday, June 24. The fire was reported at 3:47 p.m. at 4318 N. Wilkinson Avenue, where crews found a two-story single-family dwelling under construction with light smoke showing. Firefighters located and contained a small outside roofing fire. No injuries were reported, and the cause remains under investigation.
