Welcome! Another year, another 5 weeks of the Tourism Challenge. Our goal is to create an (unofficial^1 yet) dedicated and welcoming space for everyone to share their excitement about this yearly tradition.

First, we believe in the power of kindness, both online and offline, in our communities.

To ensure that this community remains a safe space, we have a few core values that we ask all members to uphold. These include, but are not limited to:

Respect 😃 We ask that all members treat each other with respect and kindness, even when they disagree. We do not tolerate hate speech, harassment, or discrimination of any kind. You will be banned.
Inclusivity 🤗 We aim to create an inclusive community where everyone feels welcome and valued. That's what's amazing about tourism. We encourage members to share their diverse perspectives.
Accountability 🥸 We hold all members accountable for their actions and words. If a member violates our community guidelines, we will take appropriate action to ensure the well-being of all members.

In the spirit of the Tourism Challenge, we encourage our members to support local businesses when able.

Thank you for being a part of our community, and we look forward to promoting Vancouver together!
