Let's make a collective effort to select documentaries of quality so we have an oasis to go to when we don't have time to shuffle through dodgy material; let's work to make this subreddit your first stop for quality documentary viewing.

Please post links to documentaries that document some aspect of reality, primarily for the purposes of instruction or maintaining a historical record.

We accept all kinds of documentaries as long as the creators of the documentary do not intend to trick the viewer by manipulating facts. Requests are fine, too.

If the video is blocked in your country you can try the link over at https://unblockvideos.com/ or try youpak

There should not be any reposts in here! (but f you spot one please contact the mod so we will remove it )

If you want to post a constructive criticism of a documentary that is submitted in here , let's hear it! Having access to content of quality is in our common interest.

Be cordial or be muted: there is hardly a need to be insulting to other posters around here.
