Valuable Ideas: For ideas that are both feasible and impactful

r/valuableideas

This is a place to share ideas that could be of tremendous value to society or a group of individuals, but that we just do not have the time or expertise to execute on our own. Have a great idea that you would to put out in to the world? This is the place to do it.

Could your idea promote meaningful positive change for others? Is it reasonable enough that one or several redditors could potentially put it into action? Then post it here!

Posters: Once a redditor has committed to putting your idea into action, edit your post to reflect that your idea is "In Progress" and provide contact info of those who are getting started. That way, interested redditors can collaborate to work on your idea rather than unknowingly working independently on the same project.

RULES:

This is not a place to promote projects that are closed to new collaborators.

This is not a place to solicit funding. Funding requests should go to /r/kickstarter or similar communities.

You may submit ideas originally proposed elsewhere, but you must credit the author of the idea and submit a link to the original post.
