A place to discuss and ask questions about any kind of visa: student, visitors, business, temporary work, etc.

Guidelines:

Do not cross-post, formally or informally (submit the same post here and to other subreddits, without waiting for feedback and adjusting based on that feedback). If you do so, your post will be automatically removed.
Submissions that function as ads for attorney services/law firms will be removed.
No racist/xenophobic messages. Offenders will be banned.

Considerations when Submitting

Provide as much information as possible, including your nationality/citizenship, location, countries of interest, type of visa being sought, previous visas held, and time frames, and the embassies or consulates already involved, etc.

Example: (CA) Applying for a US student visa. "I'm planning to study in the USA at XXXX, and plan to apply to the US Consulate in Toronto; I am Canadian can I go across the border while waiting for my interview?"
