AHPRA Limited Registration for Physicians

Good day,

I just want to ask for experiences/timeline/tips for Physicians who have applied for a Limited Registration, with a secured job offer to work as a doctor in Australia.

I recently accepted a job as a Medical Intern in Canberra and have had my AHPRA limited registration processed since December 2024.

My temporary visa has been approved and we are set to fly soon.

Any tips or things I can do to speed up the process? Is it certain that I will get a Limited registration given that I have a job offer and my employer is in contact with AHPRA as well?
