I’m u/ReadGorilla, a founding moderator.

This community is a deliberate rebellion against AI slop. We’re building a curated space for ambitious, high-effort literature — fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and bold narrative experiments where humans (for now) remain the chief architect.

We celebrate craft over prompts. We value voice, structure, pacing, thematic depth, and artistic intent. At the same time, we keep an open mind about the future: when truly emergent AI creativity arrives, this shelf will welcome it too.

How to Contribute

To keep the shelves worth browsing:

• Tag your post clearly at the start (e.g. Fiction – Science Fiction or Non-Fiction – Memoir)
• Give us context — every link or excerpt needs a compelling description. No naked links, no raw dumps.
• Engage — this isn’t just a file dump. Talk about your process, intentions, and challenges.

We want work that stands on its own merit. Show us the art in the machine.
