Gym refused to honor A&F membership

I paid for gym membership through A&F on Monday. I tried to schedule a time with the gym owner for several days to meet and get key FOB. Then today, Thursday, the gym owner said they wouldn't honor my membership because A&F hasn't paid the gym for months.

I called A&F and they cancelled my membership and said they will refund me.

Has anyone else had this issue with A&F?

It's crappy of the gym to string me along for several days and tell me they won't honor the membership. And customers shouldn't have to listen to these types of problems.
