I genuinely don’t understand Reddit, why do my posts always get removed? But yeah, I just wanted to share.

I never imagined my first love would also become the person I'd marry.

We dated in high school, but like many young couples, we eventually broke up and went our separate ways. Nearly 10 years passed before we met again at work. By then, he had a girlfriend, and I had a boyfriend, so we simply reconnected as friends.

Life had other plans. After some time, both of our relationships ended, and we found ourselves talking more often. What started as catching up quickly reminded us why we had fallen for each other in the first place. This time, we were older, more patient, and understood what it takes to make a relationship work.

Just two months after we started dating again, he got down on one knee and proposed with a beautiful LUCCE ring. Before I could answer, he looked at me and said, fate gave you back to me, and I'm not going to waste this second chance.

I couldn't hold back my tears.

Looking back, I truly believe that timing matters. Sometimes the right person comes into your life too early, and sometimes life gives you another chance when you're both finally ready.

Has anyone else here found their way back to their first love?
