Yeah I made the mistake of buying the compass. I haven't bought anything but the compass and wingsuit yet, so I don't know if I should try out getting the radio

I don’t think it makes sense to further segregate an already tiny community.

That sub is pretty dead. It had zero posts as of yesterday.

Biomes rotate every 4000 to 6000 metres. I suppose you could go to Zen mode and just ride until you start seeing the features you need, then play the regular game.

It kinda seems like the only way to get some features. Like... I was stuck for an hour and didn’t get any wallride opportunities so bad to change biomes. And now I’m stuck without any place to grind... not thrilled about this, unless I’m missing something

The compass lets you change biomes. It costs 1000 coins each time to pick, say, the canyons. If you’re really stuck on a challenge, it might be worth it.

What does the compass do? I have only purchased the wingsuit and magnet yet. Upgraded.

Start using /r/AltosOdyssey ???

Yeah. I just bought it because you need it for the level 53 goals. If you upgrade, you get more crates.

Purchased the Mysterious Radio. Appears on ground level, if you collect it two green pots parachute in ahead of you, also landing on ground level, which so far appear to contain the same things the yellow pots do.

Plus, most of the time you’re in the air, so you don’t hit the radio that often (at least the way I play).

Has anyone bought the mysterious radio? What does it do? The compass is a waste of money.
