how to add all new repos automatically

Could someone point me in the right direction please.

I have a private github org, each repo in the org is a clone of the same app. Everything is identical apart from a configuration file.

What I would like is that when a new repo is created it is automatically added to argocd and a new application is created, deploying to a new namespace in k8s.

Am I right in thinking that I should have a webhook in GitHub point to argo events which would then call a workflow?

If this is correct, how do I automatically register the new repo? I've looked at credentials template but I would need that to hold credentials for the entire org, and I don't think this is possible.

I can't find anything about automatically registering the repo and creating the app, everything mentions doing this manually to get started.
