Peptides CJC-1295 No DAC Cheat Sheet: The DAC Distinction That Changes Everything, Daily Dosing, and Why It's Usually Stacked

For research and laboratory use only. Not for human consumption. Dosing figures below are research reference points, not protocols.

The first thing to get right about CJC-1295 is which version you have, because the two forms behave nothing alike. The DAC version carries an albumin-binding moiety that keeps it circulating for 6 to 8 days, so it is dosed twice weekly and holds a sustained GH elevation. No DAC lacks that modification. Its half-life is roughly 30 minutes, which means daily dosing and a GH release pattern much closer to the body's own pulses. Buy one expecting the other's schedule and the protocol falls apart. This post is the No DAC form.

CJC-1295 No DAC is a modified 29 amino acid GHRH analog. It binds GHRH receptors on the pituitary and drives pulsatile GH release, with human studies showing sustained, dose-dependent increases in both GH and IGF-1 on subcutaneous administration. The tetrasubstitution protects the peptide from rapid enzymatic breakdown that native GHRH suffers, without adding the long albumin tether that defines the DAC form.

Why it usually isn't run alone

No DAC's short action makes it a partner peptide more than a solo one. It elevates the GHRH signal, but a GHRH analog on its own pushes one lever. Pairing it with a ghrelin-receptor secretagogue like ipamorelin hits GH release from a second pathway at the same time, which is the standard way it gets used. Arizen sells that combination as a fixed blend. The standalone vial is for anyone building a stack piece by piece, dialing the GHRH and the secretagogue doses independently rather than accepting a pre-mixed ratio.

Dosing

Once daily, subcutaneous, titrated up. Timing is pre-bed or on waking, on an empty stomach, since food blunts the GH response and the natural pulse is largest in deep sleep.

WeekDaily doseUnits (U-100)
Weeks 1 to 2100 mcg2 units (0.02 mL)
Weeks 3 to 4150 mcg3 units (0.03 mL)
Weeks 5 to 6200 mcg4 units (0.04 mL)
Weeks 7 to 12250 to 300 mcg5 to 6 units (0.05 to 0.06 mL)

Run 8 to 12 weeks, extend to 16 if desired. Consistent daily timing matters more here than with the DAC form, since the short half-life means the signal does not carry over between doses the way a 6 to 8 day albumin-bound version does.

At 0.5 mL the doses land on low unit counts, so a 30-unit syringe is strongly preferred for accuracy. Conversions: 100 mcg = 1 unit, 200 mcg = 2 units, 300 mcg = 3 units. Draw slowly down the vial wall, swirl until dissolved, do not shake, label and refrigerate protected from light.

Supply

An 8-week course runs about 2 vials, 12 weeks 2 to 3, 16 weeks about 3. One 10 mL BAC bottle covers the range at this dilution. Seven syringes a week, 14 swabs.

Storage

Lyophilized at -20 °C, dry and dark. Reconstituted, refrigerate at 2 to 8 °C, use within about 28 days, avoid freeze-thaw. Let vials warm to room temperature before opening.

Side effects and supporting factors

Generally well tolerated in the human studies, with occasional mild injection-site reactions like redness or swelling, and some transient flushing, headache, or water retention during initial titration. Rotate sites across abdomen, thighs, and upper arms and inject slowly.

The GH response leans on the fundamentals: a protein-forward diet, resistance and aerobic training to reinforce the adaptations, 7 to 9 hours of sleep since endogenous GH peaks in deep sleep, and stress management, since chronic cortisol suppresses GH output. The peptide supplies the GHRH signal; the rest determines how much of it translates.

One regulatory note

CJC-1295 No DAC has no FDA approval history. It briefly appeared on the FDA's Category 2 bulk-compounding list in 2024 before being removed, and it currently sits in regulatory limbo rather than having a clear approved or prohibited status. It is also WADA-prohibited, as is every GH secretagogue, so anyone subject to drug testing should stay away.
