2nd year CS PhD with unacceptable progress

2 publications in A and A* conferences. I have done thorough literature review for the third work but my methods and data are not good enough to produce good results for the next A* deadline, and it is only 3 months left before my 2nd year review.

Advisor said there is nothing to report in this year’s review because I have already presented the ideas of my accepted papers (just got accepted in my second year), and this progress is unacceptable, since he demands me to submit 5 papers in 3.5 years even though he knows that I will head straight to industry after PhD.

Feeling super demotivated and stressful.
