Do posties get notified of complaints?

Was waiting for a parcel last week. I am used to getting the 'we missed you card' as half the time they never bother to ring the bell. They have the card ready, drop it in the mailbox and are on their merry way. I am fine with this, gave up fighting this ages ago.

This time they didnt even bother to show up. The app mentions "delivery location closed" on the day it was out for delivery. Next day it was again out for delivery and I lodged a complaint saying this is a home and we cannot be closed, please make your staff try and deliver items.

Then the item got lost.

Idk what to make of it. It was scanned at the depo that 2nd day when it was marked as out for delivery. Weird for it to suddenly disappear after I complain. Is this a vindictive postie? Do they get notified of complaints?
