PSA: Download What3Words for your travels

Thankfully, plenty of travellers have made What3Words a staple of their trips, but there's a surprising amount of people who aren't using it.

For those who don't know, What3Words is a free app that helps you stay safe and organized. It breaks the globe up into thousands of 3x3 meter squares and gives each a random combination of three words. It'll read as a sequence starting with three slashes and with each word separated by three dots (///pirate.towel.pear for example*).* Every arrangement is completely unique.

If you get lost, you can then send the sequence to others to alert them to your location. Many emergency services worldwide now use the app to find people faster, and there's no language barrier to deal with.

Beyond safety, it's also just a quick and easy way to streamline you travel. You can use it with taxi services or airport transfers, or simply to organize a large group of people so that everyone's in the right place at the right time.

Even if you've already downloaded it, hopefully this is a reminder to actually use it (we've forgotten about it a few times). Have fun out there!
