Official Spiritual Journeys, Dreams & Solfeggio Thread
This is the official thread for Spiritual Journeys, Dreams, Third‑Eye Work and Solfeggio Frequencies in r/BinauralMind.
Use this space to share your inner experiences, discuss Solfeggio‑based protocols, ask questions about theta/gamma states, and explore consciousness work in a grounded, respectful way.
1. What this thread is (and is not)
This thread IS for:
- Lucid dreams, symbolic dreams and “astral‑style” experiences
- Theta/gamma meditations for insight, intuition and spiritual work
- Solfeggio‑based sessions (174–963 Hz) and how they feel
- Personal rituals that combine brainwave audio with journaling, breathwork, prayer or energy practices
This thread is NOT for:
- Declaring one belief system as “the only truth”
- Attacking other religions or spiritual paths
- Making extreme, untestable claims as if they were hard science
- Predicting health outcomes or giving medical orders based on spiritual experiences
We respect science and the mystery of subjective experience. Both can coexist.
2. Solfeggio & brainwaves – a grounded view
Short version:
- Brainwave frequencies (delta, theta, alpha, beta, gamma) are well‑studied in neuroscience. We know how they relate to sleep, focus, meditation and emotional states.
- Solfeggio frequencies (174–963 Hz) come from a more esoteric/traditional background. Scientific evidence is still emerging and far weaker than for brainwaves.
In this community we treat Solfeggio as:
- A possible psychoacoustic “flavour” that may change how the audio feels.
- A way to tune intention (e.g. 528 Hz for “repair & compassion”, 963 Hz for “unity & divine connection”), while still being honest that this is not as scientifically validated as brainwaves.
You are free to believe and explore, as long as you stay transparent when something is personal belief vs established science.
3. Typical frequency ranges used for spiritual work
Common combinations many people experiment with:
- Theta 5–7 Hz + Solfeggio 528 or 639 Hz
- Deep emotional processing, heart‑centered work, forgiveness, relationship healing.
- Theta 6–8 Hz + Solfeggio 852 Hz
- Intuition, symbolic imagery, “third‑eye” style meditations.
- Theta → Gamma (6–7 Hz → 35–40 Hz) + Solfeggio 963 Hz
- Non‑dual awareness, unity states, expanded consciousness – usually for advanced meditators.
These are not prescriptions, just patterns. Your nervous system is unique; what feels expansive for one person can be too intense for another.
4. Safety and grounding for spiritual sessions
Because this work can be intense:
- If you have a history of psychosis, dissociation or severe trauma, please talk to a professional before doing heavy spiritual/altered‑state work.
- Always have a grounding plan: water, food, journaling, a short walk, talking to a friend, or simply feeling your feet on the floor after a session.
- Start with shorter sessions (10–20 minutes) and only extend if you feel stable and supported.
- If a session gives you disturbing images, panic or a sense of “leaving your body” in a scary way, stop, ground yourself and consider staying with gentler theta/alpha work for a while.
You are responsible for pacing your own exploration.
5. Working with dreams & lucid experiences
If you use brainwave or Solfeggio audio around sleep:
- Keep a dream journal next to your bed (pen + notebook or a simple notes app).
- On waking, write:
- Date
- Any dream scenes, symbols, colors, emotions
- Whether you used audio, and which one
- For lucid/“astral” experiences, focus less on debating whether they were “real” and more on:
- What did you feel?
- What did you learn?
- How does it change your life when you’re awake?
This thread is a good place to share those insights.
6. Posting template for this thread
When you comment, you can use this template:
Honesty and detail help others learn from your journey.
7. Talking about beliefs respectfully
- You are welcome to mention your tradition (e.g. Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, New Age, atheist‑curious, etc.).
- Speak from the first person (“for me…”, “in my path…”) instead of universal claims (“this is how reality works for everyone”).
- Avoid trying to convert others. Share your map; let others draw their own.
If a conversation becomes hostile or proselytizing, mods may step in.
8. Important limits
-
Spiritual experiences can be beautiful and healing, but they do not replace therapy, medication or medical care when needed.
-
No one here can guarantee enlightenment, awakening or “permanent vibration upgrades”.
-
Be cautious with life‑changing decisions right after intense sessions; integrate and ground first.
9. Your turn
In the comments, feel free to share:
- Your main interest (dreams, third‑eye, heart healing, unity states, etc.).
- Any experiences you’ve had with theta/gamma or Solfeggio‑based audios.
- Questions about choosing frequencies, durations or integration practices (journaling, breathwork, body practices).
Let’s make this thread a respectful, grounded and inspiring space for spiritual explorers who also care about their nervous system and mental health.
