BiPhoria Physical Media (DVD or BluRay or UHD 4k BluRay?)
"uh this isn't the right place for" yeah, well, you named your sub after an actual publisher, and no one else on the internet seems to know anything about this, so I might as well be the first to ask and I might as well do it here, eh?
Basically, what's the deal with the quality? I picked up Bi More Oil 2, which is shot in 4k. My players are a ps3 and ps5. the 5 recognizes the disc as a DVD. the 3 does not recognize the disc at all, which implies UHD BluRay. but the video quality is not 4k at all, clearly compressed compared to even just the trailer on the website. on streaming. on the same TV.
so are these DVDs? BluRays? UHD BluRays? if DVD, why can't a basic DVD/BluRay player play them? If UHDBR, why drop the quality when the medium/disc can handle the original video? are these released in both DVD and UHDBR and I grabbed the wrong one? if so, how can I tell them apart? case size as usual or? did someone accidentally copy a “DVD” file onto a “UHDBR” disc? did someone do that on purpose? does this mistake/design choice appear on all BiPhoria physical media releases or ONLY Bi More Oil 2?
