Updates it self several times a day

Recent new behavior. BitDefender keeps trying to update. Time between attempts varies but is always in whole hour increments. No clues in Event Manager. Specific product; Internet Security. Environment; Windows 10 Pro, I7 quad core at 3.4 GHz and 16GB ram. Resources are never stretched. Any ideas ?
