✨ Calling All Black Autistic Professionals — I Need Your Insight

I’ve worked across a lot of different spaces in healthcare, but even then, there are so many roles, fields, and work environments I’ve never experienced. And I know there are hidden, lesser-known jobs out there that are actually supportive for our nervous systems — not draining.

Since we all come from different professional backgrounds, I’d love for us to build a community list of:

⭐ ND-friendly careers ⭐ Calm or low-stimulation work environments ⭐ Predictable, structured roles ⭐ Jobs where Black autistic people have actually thrived

If you’re in a role that feels safer, quieter, more flexible, or simply works better for your brain, drop it below: • Your field or job title • Why it feels autism/ND-friendly • What the day-to-day feels like

(You don’t have to be in healthcare — any profession is welcome. Creative, tech, admin, freelancing, education, trades, remote work, everything.)

I’ll read through everything, learn from your experiences, and highlight some in future community posts so others can find pathways that feel supportive.

A lot of Black autistic adults are trying to find work that honors their sensory needs, identity, and humanity. Your insight could genuinely help someone else find a place where they don’t have to mask or shrink themselves.

Drop your role or field below ⬇️ Let’s build this resource together!
