How Long Does It Actually Take You to Write a Blog Post?

I was thinking about this earlier and realised that writing a blog post is never just the writing part.

For me, it usually includes planning the idea, writing the post itself, editing, adding images, sorting SEO, internal links and then sometimes creating Pinterest pins or social posts as well.

When you add it all up, it can take quite a while.

So I’m curious how it works for everyone else.

Roughly how long does it take you from start to finish?

Do you spend the most time on
• Planning the post
• Writing the content
• Editing and formatting
• Images and graphics
• SEO and keywords

Or do you write fairly quickly and keep things simple?

I always find it interesting how different everyone’s blogging process is, so I would love to hear how long a typical post takes you.
