👉 Using AI for CIPD Assignments? Read This First
Recently, I’ve been seeing more and more students use ChatGPT for their assignments and many are getting their work flagged. If you’re also using AI in your writing, I encourage you to read this post!
AI is not always accurate
AI gives you answers based on public internet data and user-provided information which can be inaccurate and outdated. AI is trained to provide useful responses but it does not filter for factual information only. You should always double check and verify everything yourself.
AI-generated content will be detected
All CIPD providers use tools to detect the use of AI in your assignment. If your work gets flagged, you can get a referral or fail! Even without any tools, AI generated writing is often still very obvious.
Don’t trust AI to remove words
Putting your assignment in and asking AI something like “remove 200 words” is like closing your eyes and deleting random parts of your work! You should edit your own answers to make sure nothing important gets cut.
AI takes away your learning
Doing your CIPD qualification is not just about passing, it’s also to learn and gain valuable skills like researching and writing. Relying on AI takes away this opportunity and can also limit your critical thinking.
Bottom line: AI can be used for helping with suggesting ideas but it should not be writing your assignment for you!
