What characters did you identify with when learning you were trans???

Hey, I’m interested in rhetoric and media analysis and and I was thinking about the rhetoric around trans characters in media. And was thinking about how characters I connected to as a young trans man when I was finding my identity was often charters that are not “technically” transgender for instance Disney’s Mulan or Dipper for gravity falls. So trans peps of Reddit:
1)what characters do you or did you connect with?
2)If you ware willing to share why did you connect with that character?
Can be characters who identify as trans or not. I’d Prefer movie and tv show but I would still love to hear it all books, video games, etc.

I’m interested in doing kind of a personal media study of trans characters in media and how trans people connect to them. would love external impost and guidance. please chime off in the comments!:))
