How to beat the new nemesis

I usually use a combination of Kaylen and Talem along with about 4 maxed Infantry Towers to beat the Crypt Lord and this has worked well so far but this time around, he just seems too powerful. He one shots the infantry towers before Talem has a chance to heal them. I'm at Level 13 Crypt Lord and I'm barely making a dent in him each round. I'm afraid at this rate I won't be able to beat him at all and I really want Hugo now that he is available after so long. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
