Corporate immigration makes small problems spiral way too fast
I swear corporate immigration turns the smallest issue into a full blown crisis.
Recentl, we had an employee run into some document issues and the whole thing just spiraled. Suddenly it was calls with lawyers, compliance checks, timelines shifting around, bosses blaming HR for the situation while the employee obviously stressed out of their mind while still trying to work. (For context, he’s a mid level manager on our team who runs a pretty important function, so it’s not like things can just pause while immigration paperwork gets sorted out)
What bothers me is how fragile the whole system feels. The annoying part is, the immigration firm we’re working with moves so slowly that even small issues drag out way longer than they should.
