đź‘‹Welcome to r/cybersecurityteachers - Introduce Yourself and Read First!
This community is for educators who teach—or want to teach—cybersecurity, AI, digital safety, networking, and other emerging technology topics.
Whether you teach a full cybersecurity course, incorporate technology into another subject, or are just looking for ways to introduce these concepts to students, you’re welcome here.
Use this space to:
• Share lesson ideas, activities, and classroom strategies
• Ask questions and get help from other educators
• Discuss cybersecurity and AI topics in education
• Share free resources and useful websites
• Talk about what’s working—or not working—in your classroom
• Find ways to make complicated technology concepts easier for students to understand
• Connect with other teachers interested in cybersecurity and technology education
One of the biggest goals of this community is to make cybersecurity education feel approachable, practical, and engaging, even for educators who don’t come from a technical background.
I’m also the creator of Cyber Wiz, where I develop classroom resources for teaching cybersecurity, AI, and technology. I’ll occasionally share resources I’ve created when they’re relevant, but this community is meant to be much bigger than one store. I want it to become a place where teachers can exchange ideas, solve problems, and learn from one another.
To get things started: What do you teach, what grade levels do you work with, and what cybersecurity or technology topic would you love to find more resources for?
Glad you’re here!
