Made a Discord community for DIT University students.

Hey everyone! I recently started a Discord server for DIT University students because I noticed that it's surprisingly difficult to connect with students outside your own class/course.

The idea is to have one place where DIT students can:

• Find people for projects and hackathons

• Connect with students interested in coding, tech, design, etc.

• Share notes, resources and useful information

• Find students from different courses and years

• Discuss college life, events and random stuff

• Find people who are actually interested in building things together

The server is still very new (only a few people so far 😭), so I'm hoping to build it with the students rather than just making another dead Discord server.

There are also course roles, so you can easily find people studying the same thing or interested in similar areas.

If you're a DIT student and interested, feel free to join: https://discord.gg/J5e4hra3q

And if you have suggestions for what you'd actually want in a DIT student community, I'd genuinely like to hear them.
