# DEAD RAILS CONCEPT CARD #001

# ZOMBIE EVOLUTION

*"Feed. Adapt. Evolve."*

The Zombie is already one of the most unique classes in Dead Rails because it survives by feeding on corpses. This concept expands that identity instead of replacing it.

# Evolution Path

🧟 **Stage I** — Current Zombie

↓

💀 **Stage II** — Feeding on Zombies gradually increases maximum Health.

↓

🦇 **Stage III** — Feeding on Vampires gradually increases Movement Speed.

↓

🐺 **Stage IV** — Feeding on Werewolves gradually increases Damage.

The idea is simple: the stronger the enemy, the greater the reward.

Rather than unlocking completely unrelated abilities, Zombie naturally evolves by consuming increasingly dangerous creatures, making every run feel like a progression from scavenger to apex predator.

# Design Philosophy

Every evolution should reinforce what already makes a class unique.

Zombie doesn't become a different class—it simply becomes a better Zombie.

# Discussion

Would you prefer this progression to reset every match, or should class evolution be permanently unlocked once you've earned it?
