Location Depictions Accurate? NJ fans please weigh in!

I was disappointed to read that the movie wasn't shot in Colts Neck because it's no longer "rural enough." While I understand plenty of scenes where shot in legit places eg., boardwalk, IMO perhaps had more to do with wanting proximity to NYC for execs, and it's pretty hard to get hotel rooms in CN for crew?

I grew up in CN and have yet to see the movie. In the meantime, how do those of you who know the area think of the locations portrayed?
