Hey Demayth Community,

Our last **Demayth Adventures** session was an absolute roller coaster of discovery, despair, and divine intervention! For those who love a good story, here's a quick recap of what went down:

Our party, starting with breakfast at the Leaky Barrel in the City-State of Arler, quickly found themselves drawn into a mystery. A suspicious bartender and a peculiar dog hinted at deeper secrets. Seeking work, they soon met old "Salty Dog," a fisherman who spun tales of ancient sunken ruins, Ys'maris, the Sunken Jewel of Arler, now lying deep off the coast.

Equipping themselves with magical "Diver Rings" from the artificer (granting water breathing, normal sight, and free movement underwater!), they set sail. A stowaway named Boi, pale-skinned with green eyes and a glowing amulet, revealed he was sent by a powerful master and seemed to be the key to something sinister. Tina, taking charge of Boi, witnessed Crystal's attempt to identify his magical mark turn into a fleeting black hole – quickly contained, but a stark warning of unknown power.

Their descent into Ys'maris was chillingly described: light fading, immense pressure, and the haunting, encrusted remains of a grand civilization. Deep within the dungeon's structure, they stumbled upon a horrific discovery: a **Void Lord**, an entity so powerful it could end realms, kept imprisoned, with Boi unknowingly holding the key to its cage. Facing a world-ending threat, Crystal unleashed an uncontrolled burst of divine power, delivering a godlike arrow blast to destroy the Void Lord's eggs. In the ensuing chaos, Boi was tragically killed, and the party escaped the prison by the glory of Duryin, saved by one of his exalted guardians!

The dwarf spirit, honoring their bravery, tasked them with a new quest: to purge 8 water devils from the ruins. After gaining vital information and new weapons from an armory, they departed. However, their journey took an unexpected turn when a fairy named Hens teleported them to the Blight Lord's domain. There, they encountered tortured demigods, stretched and rotting on stone, and were warned by a desperate woman that if they defeated the Blight Lord, they too would perish, as he drew power from their suffering. Facing such overwhelming odds, they made the tactical retreat back to Arler.

Upon their return, a devastating truth came to light: Tina was afflicted with Soulfire, a curse that would claim her magic in three years. Thankfully, the churches of Duryin provided salvation, curing the disease! They may have lost the battle at the Blight Lord's domain, but as they said, not the war. The adventure continues next time!
