My boyfriend doesn't think anyone appreciates him

Hi guys my bf told me he's been depressed for months and nobody in his life appreciates him obviously this hurts cause he's the best thing ever and I would do anything for him including wish he knew that we have dated 8 years... I love making him food baking things spending quality time with him but I guess it's not enough I also have bipolar depression and feel I have to pretend I am not depressed I made him dinner last night horribly ill too cause I knew he was depressed
