The goal was pretty simple: instead of rebuilding your workspace every time you switch projects, your Mac can remember it for you.

I don’t really use my Mac the same way for every task.

When I’m designing, I need certain folders, reference tabs, screenshots, and visual tools open.
When I’m coding, I need a completely different setup.
When I’m writing, I want a cleaner space with fewer distractions.
When I’m researching, things get messy fast.

The annoying part was not setting up the workspace once. It was having to recreate that same setup over and over again.

So I built [**FocusForm**](https://quietware.itch.io/focus-form).

It lets you arrange your desktop exactly how you want it, save that setup as a snapshot, and restore it later when you want to get back into that mode of work.

# A few features:

• Save your whole workspace in one click
• Restore apps, files, folders, websites, and layouts
• Bring back window positions and sizes
• Create separate setups for design, coding, writing, research, etc.
• Switch workspaces from the menu bar
• Works locally on your Mac
• Built-in feedback form to help shape updates
• Automatic updates for faster fixes and improvements
• Free for both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs

I also added a feedback form inside the About section. Since automatic updates are built in, filling that out helps shape the app and makes it easier for me to improve things quickly.

I’d love feedback from designers, creatives, and anyone who jumps between different digital workspaces during the day. Would this be useful in your workflow?

I built an app because I was tired of rebuilding my digital workspace every day
