Android app not updating to latest version after deployment from Dreamflow (but iOS does)
Hey everyone đź‘‹
I’m running into a weird issue and could really use some help or insight.
I’ve built my app using Dreamflow and have deployed it to both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. When I publish a new version, the iOS app updates perfectly — users (and myself) get the most recent build right away.
However, on Android, even after uploading the latest build (via internal testing / production release), I don’t get the newest version of the app. It still shows an older build.
I’ve already tried:
- Clearing Play Store cache and data
- Uninstalling and reinstalling the app
- Increasing the version and build number before deploying
- Waiting several hours in case of propagation delays
Still, the Android app always gives me an outdated version, while iOS works fine.
Has anyone experienced this before?
Could it be something related to Dreamflow’s deployment process, Play Console caching, or maybe how the internal test tracks work?
Any tips or debugging ideas would be super appreciated 🙏
